Send in the rains please....

Oh my is it hot and it's not Aug yet... We so need lots of rain. Honestly we need a Hurricane to travel along the east coast and just dump lots of rain on the southern east coast line...

Spend the better half of the morning on the back porch watching two of my nieces swim in the pool. After 2 hours out there I ended up taking a nap, that's so unlike me must have been the heat...

Even though we haven't had much rain the plants don't seem to be hurting much look at what's growing in my yard...

Here's my baby pineappple... I'm praying this one survives, the last one a wind came and broke it off... I'm going this weekend and get a stake to help hold it steady...

Ok off to go work in the yard to get it ready for next weekends BBQ...
